V. MECHANICAL AND MATERIAL TESTS

The aim of the material test is to characterize and check the material properties. Mechanical tests belong among the basic and widely used methods for the determination of useable properties of the material regarding its use in construction of products. The tests also help to provide the ability to determine the degree of degradation when exposed to weather conditions. The materials are subjected to mechanical stress in tension, bending and impact mechanical stress. The properties of entire structural systems are determined based on the measured results.
