Dust chamber is used for test of resistance of electric devices to ingress of dust degree IP5X and IP6X. For degree IP5X (dust protected) the ingress of dust is not entirely prevented, but it must not enter sufficient quantity to interfere with the satisfactory operation of the equipment. For degree IP6X (dust tight) cannot by ingress of dust.
